Wanted Kidnapper Buhari Muhammad, Five Others Arrested in Abuja Hotel

Buhari Muhammad and five other individuals were among the group of alleged infamous kidnappers that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police in Abuja arrested at a hotel in Bassa village.

Newsmen received a statement on Monday from SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, revealing this.

The people who have been detained are Muhammad Sabiu, Isah Abdullahi, Hamzat Musa, Fatima Abdullahi, and Zuliat Yusuf. It is thought that these people are members of a well-known kidnapping group that kidnapped Joshua Eze, who is Blessing Eze’s spouse.

Gratitude Eze was shot as her husband was being kidnapped.

Within twenty-four hours of his kidnapping on January 27, 2024, Joshua Eze was successfully and safely retrieved by police agents.

The arrest was made, according to SP Josephine Adeh, by command personnel from the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, which is tasked with stopping illegal activity in the area.

A monetary amount of N345,000, ten cell phones, an AK-47 weapon, and other valuables were among the goods retrieved from the accused.
