Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba activist, has pleaded with the Federal Government to free Nnamdi Kanu, the well-known leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), as soon as possible.

Igboho’s passionate plea was made during Kanu’s ongoing trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja, and it was made public through a widely shared video that X_Daily published on Tuesday.

After being detained since June 2021, Kanu appeared in court on Monday, February 26, 2024, marking his first appearance since a December 15, 2023, Supreme Court decision.
