As of Sunday, members of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) had concluded their seven-day warning strike.

Members of SSANU and NASU are to return work on Monday, March 25, 2024, according to a memo from SSANU President Mohammed Ibrahim to branch chairmen at public universities across the country.

The unions stated that “the pace of the warning strike has been significant, inclusive, and widespread across most of our universities and inter-university centres” after evaluating the seven-day warning strike that was started on March 18, 2024.
