Binance Executive Remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre by Court

A Federal High Court in Abuja has placed Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan under detention at the Kuje Correctional Centre.

Gambaryan will stay in custody until his bail application is decided.

The judgement was made following Gambaryan’s Monday, April 8, 2024, plea of not guilty to accusations of money laundering brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before Justice Emeka Nwite.

Justice Nwite, the trial judge, remanded him and postponed the case until April 18 for the decision on his bail request and May 2 for the start of the trial.
