Former legislator Shehu Sani of Nigeria has expressed alarm about the growing tension in the Middle East and spoken out against Iran’s recent drone assaults on Israel.
After Israel attacked the Iranian embassy in Syria earlier this year, killing multiple Iranian officials, the attacks on Saturday night officially started hostilities between the two countries.

Iran carried out its punitive actions against Israel in defiance of resolutions from the United Nations and the United States, among other countries, despite international efforts to stop further escalation.
Shehu Sani expressed his concerns about the current state of affairs on X, saying, “Iran has launched a retaliatory drone attack against Israel.” The Middle East will at last be embroiled in war before our very eyes.
“All UN resolutions on Gaza had been defied, world leaders have failed,” he added.
