Aisha Galadima, a female politician and affiliate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, was purportedly arrested on Sunday by security guards who may have been DSS agents.
According to reports, a critical social media post regarding state governor Uba Sani was the reason behind the purported arrest.
According to sources, Galadima attacked Sani over her recent comments on her Facebook page regarding Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of the state.

A neighbour said that she was arrested on Sunday afternoon in the Tudun Wada neighbourhood of Kaduna, and a friend said that Galadima’s phone had been switched off after the arrest.
Muhammad Lawal Shehu, the governor’s chief press secretary, asserted that he was not aware of the arrest and directed inquiries about the matter to the DSS for further clarification.
“I’m not aware that a woman was arrested for posting a negative comment against His Excellency.
