There Is No Plan To Establish Foreign Military Bases In Nigeria – FG

Claims that foreign military bases will be created in Nigeria have been refuted by the Federal Government.

The administration asked the public to completely reject the lie in a statement signed by Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation.

The minister declared, “The Federal Government is not in any such discussion with any foreign country.”

Idris continued, saying that as of right now, no nation has submitted any suggestions “on the establishment of any foreign military bases in Nigeria.”

According to him, the Nigerian government already benefits from international assistance in addressing persistent security issues. He also stated that President Bola Tinubu is steadfast in his commitment to strengthening these alliances in order to realise the Renewed Hope Agenda’s national security goals.
