Deeper Life High School Celebrates Remarkable Performance in JAMB 2024

Deeper Life High School (DLHS) has recently made waves on social media, proudly boasting the outstanding achievements of 174 of its students in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Surpassing expectations, these students scored an impressive range of 300 to 362 marks out of a possible 400.

In a series of celebratory posts on their official Facebook page, DLHS hailed their students as “heroes and heroines” for their exceptional performance. Among them, Ayeyemi Godsgift Ibukunoluwa emerged as the highest scorer, clinching an impressive 362 out of 400 marks.

This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy considering the national statistics released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). With only about 0.5% of candidates nationwide scoring 300 and above, DLHS’s feat underscores the school’s commitment to academic excellence and rigorous preparation.

However, amidst the celebration, JAMB’s decision not to disclose the names of the highest-scoring candidates casts a shadow of uncertainty. The board emphasized that while the UTME serves as a ranking examination, admission into tertiary institutions is determined by various factors beyond just exam scores.

DLHS’s success serves as a testament to the dedication of both students and faculty members. By nurturing a culture of academic excellence and providing robust support systems, the school has empowered its students to excel in their academic pursuits. Congratulations to the DLHS 2024 UTME champions on their well-deserved achievement!
