Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso can’t win 2027 presidency – Verydarkman

Controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan has voiced strong opinions on the political landscape, asserting that opposition supporters are underestimating President Bola Tinubu. He highlighted Tinubu’s robust political strategy and influence, urging the opposition to be more vigilant and strategic.

VeryDarkMan cast doubt on the Labour Party’s chances in the 2027 presidential election, stating that its candidate, Peter Obi, has a slim chance of winning. He further dismissed the prospects of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar and New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, claiming they stand no chance of winning the presidency.

These remarks came in response to reports of Obi’s recent visit to Atiku, which fueled speculation about a possible merger of opposition parties. VeryDarkMan remained skeptical about the efficacy of such a coalition, asserting that even a unified opposition would struggle to unseat the incumbent president in 2027.

“I’m tired of hearing about Peter Obi and Atiku planning a merger for the 2027 presidential race. The reality is that neither Peter Obi, Atiku, nor Kwankwaso will come close to the presidential seat in 2027,” VeryDarkMan stated. “The opposition consistently underestimates President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. With time, it will become clear that Tinubu is one of the greatest politicians of all time. I hate to admit it, but it’s a fact. He’s smart, intelligent, and determined. He knows how to achieve his goals and will likely remain in office until 2032. The opposition should abandon merger plans; Peter Obi 2027 is not feasible.”

Last week, Peter Obi held a closed-door meeting with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other PDP stalwarts in Abuja. Obi also met separately with former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido and former Senate President Bukola Saraki, sparking speculation about a potential coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections. Obi had defected from the PDP to the Labour Party in 2022 to pursue his presidential ambitions.

This latest development has stirred political discourse, with VeryDarkMan’s statements adding to the ongoing debate about the future of Nigeria’s political landscape.
