In advance of a scheduled nationwide demonstration, DJ Switch, also known as Catherine Udeh, has urged Nigerians to come together.
Switch asked Nigerians to get together and combat religious and ethnic divisions “planted by the political class” in an X Facebook post in an effort to quell the anticipated demonstration.
The activist claimed that until the people made the decision to save Nigeria, the political elite would keep mismanaging the economy of the nation.

She asserted that certain politicians endorsing the demonstration were merely doing so to make a statement and mislead the younger generation.
Switch said, “I was not going to speak on this issue because I’ve experienced first hand the cowardice of many Nigerians but my love for Nigeria is literally haunting me! So here it goes. They say that there is a time for everything,”
“A time to sleep, play, work, fight or die! Africa as a whole needs to know what f**king time it is! If you recognize what time it is, then you know what to do! Mind you, the cabals running Nigeria, Nigeria especially are smarter than you all might think.
“While they may be on edge about this planned protest, especially after seeing the events in Kenya, I promise you that they can bet their left balls that nothing will happen. That being said, many have been advised to “show” support for our fundamental human right to freedom of expression for two reasons.”

Switch highlights the importance of realising that they don’t care if you remain or you japa! These monsters have Nigeria as their mine. They just take and take, not giving a damn where the country ends up—a wasteland!.
She pointed out that the tribal split they’ve sowed among us was a last-ditch attempt to mend their shattered chessboard, which ought to have collapsed on its face, but some of us are so vile, self-centred, and shortsighted. They are prepared to sell their kids for that brown envelope.
