Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor, the All Progressive Congress (APC) House of Representative Candidate for Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, has once again demonstrated that he is the best suited to represent the constituency in the National Assembly.
Nonso Smart Okafor, who attended the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Debate for candidates from various political parties in the Federal Constituency, gave an excellent account of himself as he answered to questions from both journalists and constituents.
Notwithstanding the fact that the APGA, PDP, LP, and YPP were glaringly absent from the debate for no apparent cause or representation, Hon. Smart Okafor outlined his goals for the constituency and how he expects to provide effective representation for the constituency.

Answering questions, the lawmaker who is currently representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, said that he is the only candidate in the race with legislative experience and the needed knowledge and exposure to represent the constituency.
He said that his 4-Points Agenda, which is anchored on “ROLE” which stands for Representation, Oversight, Legislation, and Empowerment explains the clear vision of what he wants to do at the National Assembly and how he wants to do it.
According to him, through legislative means, he will contribute towards tackling the issues of insecurity, road infrastructure, power supply, erosion menace, and youth empowerment, which are part of the major problem of the federal constituency.

The lawmaker explained that his slogan Mmadụ Ka A Na Atụ is targeted at building the consciousness among voters that political party is just a platform or vehicle and candidates should be evaluated based on their character, experience, competence, capacity, and antecedents in connection to the positions they are contesting for.
On why he joined All Progressive Congress (APC), he maintained that he does not have any issue with All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as a party, but left the party because of the issues he had with the then leadership of the party, which will have killed his political career.
