OBIANO LAUNCHES DRY SEASON FARMING TODAY
Governor Willie Obiano will today inaugurate the 2018 Anambra State Trade Fair being organized by the State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture at the Justice Chuba Ikpeazu Sports Stadium, Onitsha.
The event will commence by 11:00 O’clock in the morning.
Governor Obiano will also, during the event, launch the Dry Season Farming and other Ministry of Agriculture activities slated for the 2018 dry season farming exercise in the state.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr Afam Mbanefo, invites farmers, farmers organizations, clusters and co-operatives, agro investors, stakeholders and the public to the event.
The release requests all the 21 local government councils to bring their farmers to the venue and to occupy their pavilions.
