19TH NSF: 6 YEAR-OLD REPRESENTS BAYELSA IN CHESS GAME
Deborah Quickpen from Bayelsa emerged the youngest athlete in the 2018 National Sports Festival in Abuja. Anaedoonline.com reports.
Deborah, who plays chess at ongoing National Sports Festival is 6, and would be representing Bayelsa State as the Chess Game starts today (Sunday) at the Package A national stadium, Abuja.
She won a bronze medal at U-15 category at the National Youth Games in Ilorin and bagged youngest medalist wards at the youth games this year.
The girl’s parents are also participating in the festival.
The Quickpen family are from Bayelsa, and her father and mother play scrabble.
