2019: HOW BUHARI, ATIKU WILL BE PROTECTED IN SOUTH EAST CAMPAIGNS – OHANAEZE

Ohanaeze Youth Council, the apex Igbo youth organization, has said that it would guarantee the safety of President Muhammadu Buhari and the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, whenever they would come to campaign in the South East zone.

The National President of OYC, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, made this known in an interview with newsmen on Friday morning, in Umuahia, disclosing that the leadership of the apex Igbo youth body had secured the assurance of the forum of Biafra agitators to ceasefire and to allow the two leading presidential candidates(Buhari/Atiku) campaign in the South East zone.

Isiguzoro said, “We are insisting that Igbo leaders are deceiving Both President Buhari and Atiku as Many of Igbo leaders can no longer influence Igbo votes in their polling Units or Southeast generally since 2015 increased Biafra agitation.

“Many Governors, senators rely on Biafra agitators and Ohanaeze Youths to win an election. President Buhari and Atiku Should be aware that Igbo leaders failed PDP in last Presidential election, and they should not rely on them.

“APC leaders in the Southeast had developed cold feet to openly Campaign for President Buhari in the Southeast because of the fear of being attacked by Youths especially Biafra Agitators.

“Irrespective of assurances given to President Buhari that they will deliver, many of them had lost touch with Igbo voters, because of many years of neglect and inaccessibility. They are receiving the rewards of telling President Buhari the truth and Granting Presidential Pardon to Biafra agitators”.
