1. Nnewi United Football Club is a newly formed Nigeria National League Club that was floated in 2016 by Chief Gabriel Chukwuma (Nnanyelugo Nnewi).

2. Currently, it’s being run by Nnewi youths, however, it was Chief Gabriel Chukwuma who single-handedly funded the club for two football seasons before handing it over to them.

4. The name of its technical adviser is Mr Benjamin Okaro , a man who spent thirty five years of his life in United States before coming back to serve in this capacity
