My Childhood;
Growing up , my parents did not have much. So as a primary school pupil,I had to assist my mother in her Akara business (bean cake) , while my dad did so many menial jobs.

After my primary education, I decided to learn a trade, so I was adopted by Mr. Hycent Emoka as his apprentice in the sale of Peugeot motor spare parts ,where I spent 5 years . In 1987 , I decided to be an independent dealer. My business grew in leaps and bounds to the glory of God.

In 1997 , 10 years later , I got married to Ebele , a businesswoman.We are blessed with 6 children.

My unplanned Foray Into Leadership Positions;

I have always been a devout Catholic from my Childhood. As a result of my utmost devotion, I was privileged to occupy several leadership positions in the church .
-The first was, Executive of Catholic Charismatic Renewal St Micheal The Archangel Umudim Nnewi.

-Chairman of Naity Council St.Micheal

-Vice-Chairman Parish Council St. Micheal The Archangel Umudim Nnewi.

In addition to my church devotion, I was regarded as a respectable, honest, trust worthy and disciplined man in my community, this influenced family members, villagers and friends to entrust me with leadership positions too.

I was Chairman Umuokpalegom Kindred (2013 till date) and Chairman JDBC (a charity organisation)

My steadfast committment to all the leadership positions i held over the years led to my nomination by members of Agbo-Edo Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association (AMSPDA) to contest for office of Chairman.

The Election campaign and preparation was difficult and challenging but I was encouraged and supported by Chief Innocent Chukwuma (INNOSON), Chief Chika Emenike (KOTEC), Hon. Dr. Christain Mmadubuko and so many other people whose contributions made a significant impact.

The election was held on the 12th of April, 2019, after which I emerged the winner and was sworn into office as Chairman, Agbo-Edo Motor Spare Parts Dealer Association (AMSPDA).
Since assuming office, I and my executives mapped out proposed projects to be carried out but due to limited funds, the projects are being handled one at a time.

What We Have Achieved So Far ;

However, we have been able to execute certain projects such as, reinstalling power supply from Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) to the market, acquiring two brand new sound proof lister generators as a central back up power supply to aid the normal power supply from Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) and eradicate health hazards , tightening up task force to ensure dealers abide by rules and regulation of the motor spare parts market Nkwo Nnewi as well as security.

Nevertheless, I and my executives are still working hard towards achieving all proposed plans to ensure development and growth in the Agbo-Edo motor spare parts market as well as the entire Nkwo Nnewi market.
