According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted there are chances that Friday, October 11 will witness thunderstorms and rains over some parts of Nigeria. NiMet made its prediction in its forecast outlook on Thursday, October 10.
It reported look out of thunderstorms and rains over the southern states of Nigeria, except for the southwest inland where cloudy conditions should prevail in the morning. The prediction also claimed day and night temperatures of the southern region to be 28 to 31 degree Celsius and 20 to 21 degree Celsius respectively.

NiMet said: “For central states, cloudy morning is expected with chances of thunderstorms over Taraba state.
“Thunderstorms are likely over a few parts of the region in the afternoon/evening period with day and night temperatures expected to be 25 to 31 and 15 to 24 degree Celsius respectively.”
