Prince Ofili Chukwuemeka Nnanyelu Nwosu (Ebube-Dike Nnewi) has exited the world stage. The funeral service of the traditional prime minister and head of Nwosu and Nwakanma family was held yesterday, January 6th, 2020 in his hometown, Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State.

Evang Ofili Nwosu’s terrible demise happened on the 9th of October, 2019, after a protracted illness. Nnewi: Condolence Register Opens for Late Barr. Ofili Nwosu

His funeral service which started around 10am was conducted by the Anglican communion, Nnewi Diocese. According to the minister, Rev. Canon Dr. Overcomer Anusiuba who spoke to the congregation, he said Evang. Nwosu died strong, he didn’t die as a coward. He encouraged everyone to recognize the supremacy of God as the author and finisher of our faith. Rev. Overcomer admonished the people from Gal 6:6-10. He continuously chanted the phrase “there is God oooo”, telling people to follow Christ.

The Old Boys of Dennis Memorial Grammar School had their time at the Funeral service where they sang hymns and the school anthem to bid Ebube-Dike Farewell.

The funeral service ended with prayers for the family and household.

The condolence visit started immediately after the service. The funeral service was attended by Nnewi stakeholders, Royal families, Anambra Political class and the Igbo community.
