JAMB Suspends NIN For Jamb 2020 Registration

Jamb has suspended the use of National Identification Number (NIN) for 2020 jamb registration. You are no longer using NIN for this year Jamb.

You do not need to ask whether it is true that Jamb has stopped the use of NIN for this year registration and creation of Jamb profile. Jamb made the official statement via their twitter handle.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has suspended the use of the National Identification Number as a prerequisite for the registration of the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.

The Registrar of JAMB Professor Ishaq Oloyede who stated this while briefing newsmen in Abuja said the move was to provide more time for candidates to get their national identification number.

Prof. Oloyede said the suspension was also to address the technical challenges experienced in some centres.
