Chief Chika Emenike(Ojichukwu Nnewi) was joined by friends, family, and well-wishers to pay the last respect to his mother-in-law, Late Nneoma Louisa Ifeonu Nee Olubuogu, yesterday 24th January 2020.

Late Nneoma Louisa Ifeonu was laid to rest on the 23rd of January 2020, at Urualla, Ideato North LGA, Imo State amidst family members and friends.

She died at the ripe age of 81years after 4years of a kidney ailment. She was a devout Christian and was also a leader of many Christian organizations including the Christian Women Organization (CWO) until the time of her death. She is survived by five sons and a daughter Lolo Prisca Emenike who is the wife of Chief Chika Emenike.

Chief Emenike was accompanied by Royal fathers, friends, business partners from Anambra, Enugu, Imo State, respectively to condole his inlaw. At the condolence table, he consoled his inlaw to take heart. He described Mama as a peacemaker and urged them to maintain peace in the home.

Lolo Prisca Emenike did not mince words when she spoke to anaedoonline.ng. She described her mother as a peacemaker and problem Solver. She said, “there is only one mother and no one can take the place of my mother”.

The entourage of friends who accompanied Chief Emenike was enormous. Some of them include Chief Cletus Ibeto, Dr. Chika Okafor, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, Chief & Mrs. Jide Udeozor, Hon. Francis Okeke, Sir. Pat Ubajiaka, Hon. Ernest Obiora, Chief Sunday Ezeobiora, Chief Izundu Mmadunem, Chief Uchenna Umeaneto, Rt. Hon. Chukwukere, Sen. Amamchukwu Ezike, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, Chief Emma Akunne, Princess Dame Esom Nwafor Orizu, Oselokah Osigwe, Hon. Melie Onyejepu, Mr. Cornel Osigwe, and many others.

The Emenike brothers, Uche Emenike and Ogoochukwu Emenike were also present to support their elder brother Chika Emenike.

The guests were entertained with lots of food and drinks, live band and music presentations. Most of the vendors were sourced from Nnewi, Anambra including Damas Events, M.C Apple Opone, Jolly Jolly Fish and also the Tummy Tummy noodles brand which was the first appetizer served to the guest on arrival.

In an interview with Chief Emenike and his wife, the couple thanked everyone who showed up to support and mourn with them. They prayed for journey mercies for their guests and pray that their needs will be met in their time of need.
