Anambra Youth Dev & Empowerment Commission Bill Passes 2nd Reading

The Bill for an Act to establish Anambra State Youth Development and Empowerment Commission sponsored has passed 2nd Reading.

The bill was sponsored by the Member Representing Nnewi North in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor,

The bill which passed Second in the ongoing plenary session in Anambra State House of Assembly seeks to institutionalize Youth Empowerment and Development in Anambra State.

The commission is expected to have the responsibility of articulating sustainable empowerment and development programs for the state government that is designed to create job opportunities for the youths in the state.

In another Story Flood: Nonso Okafor Seeks For Government Intervention In Nnewi

The Member Representing Nnewi North Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Okafor (Smart), has called for government intervention over the threatening flood upsurge in some parts of Nnewi.

Hon. Nonso Okafor made the call yesterday, Thursday, 3rd of October, 2019, during the plenary session of Anambra State House of Assembly, where he sponsored a motion under Matter of Urgent Public Interest, calling on the state government to urgently create measures to tackle the flood menace.
