Anambra Lawmakers Considers Petition On The Suspension Of Varsity Student

The Anambra State House of Assembly has received a petition seeking to investigate the suspension of a student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (Uli Campus).

The petition was presented before the House, today, Tuesday, 25th February, 2020, by the Member Representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor.

Presenting the petition, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor said that Miss Oramasionwu Oluebubechukwu, a 300 Level Chemical Engineering Student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (Uli Campus), was stabbed by a fellow student in a circumstance that needs to be unravelled.

According to the lawmaker, the petition seeks to review and lift the suspension of Miss Oramasionwu by the school authorities, and also be given the opportunity to write the all the examinations that she missed on the course of her suspension.

It is will be recalled that last week, Anaedoonline.com reported how the Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State (COOU), Prof. Greg Nwakoby allegedly suspended an innocent female student from the school, in order to protect and cover the crimes committed by his nephew one, Emmanuel Philip Chijindu.

The 300 level female student of Chemical Engineering, Oramasionwu Oluebubechukwu accused Emmanuel Philip Chijindu, a 400 level student of Computer science department, of stabbing her on her head in December. She only survived due to the kind intervention of her neighbour’s.
