Paul Okoye, also known by his stage name as Rude Boy is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, dancer and performer.
He was formerly in a group with his twin brother Peter Okoye aka Mr. P and together were known as Psquare before they decided to call it quit to pursuing their individual solo careers.
Paul Okoye was born on the 18th of November, 1981 and hails from Ifitedunu area of Anambra State of Nigeria.
He attended the St. Murrumba secondary school in Jos, Nigeria and then later proceeded to the University of Abuja to study Business Administration.
While, he was studying at the University, he got entangled with a lady named Anita Isama, a woman he later got married to and they both have 3 children together.
Paul (Rude Boy) Okoye has fared well in the music scene with his twin brother. They started off as an Acapella group drawing inspiration from Michael Jackson’s dancing steps which they perfected and eventually got bookings for their performances around Jos, Nigeria.
Psquare had their first album titled ‘Last Nite’ and this was sponsored was by a tobacco manufacturing company and this got them a KORA Awards nomination; they went on to release another album titled ‘ Get Squared’ in 2005 under the Squared Records label, which has the track ‘ Busy Body’. This track was a mega hit in and out of the country and got them a lot of fame.
Precisely, two years later, they released yet another smashing album titled ‘Game Over’ and this was their best selling album with about 8 million copies sold. In this album were featured big international American artistes like Akon in ‘Chop my Money’, Rick Ross in ‘Onyinye’ and T.I in “Ejeajo’ tracks. Remarkably, they released other albums including, ‘Danger’ in 2009 and in 2011 they released ‘The Invasion’ and then in 2014 they released ‘Double trouble’.
However, since splitting with his brother, Peter Okoye, he has equally released some singles to his name.
Paul got married to Anita ( Nee Isama) in 2014 and the marriage is blessed with three children. The Children’s names are Andre, Nadia and Nathan.
Paul Okoye aka Rude Boy has received so many awards and nominations during his time with Squared Records which including The Headies, City Magazine 9th Awards Show, Nigeria Music Awards, Channel O Music Video Awards, KORA Awards, BET Awards, Ghana Music Awards MTV Europe Music Awards, Soul Train Music Awards.
However, as a solo artiste he is yet to receive any awards to his name.
Paul Okoye aka Rude Boy alongside his twin brother Peter Mr. P Okoye were both Globacom Telecommunication ambassadors with customized cars to their names.

He was also the Olympic Milk ambassador with his brother, among other mouthwatering endorsement deals. However, as a solo artiste he has not yet signed as at the time of writing this article
Before the split of the group Paul Okoye (Rude Boy) and his brother Peter Okoye (Mr. P) were both worth $150 million dollars which made them the richest Nigerian artistes but, however, upon sharing their assets and properties as a solo artiste, Paul Okoye net worth is about $10 million dollars and invariably still one of the richest Nigerian artistes. Some of his cars include, Mercedes Benz, Wrangler, BMW X6, and a Range Rover.
He also has a mansion in Atlanta, Georgia, USA which is next to that of his twin brother and more so, some other real estate properties in Nigeria to his name.
