The Lagos State Government is liaising with the Federal Government on mapping out plans for the reopening of schools following the easing of lockdown due to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Speaking during an online show, the Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo stated that the decision to reopen schools cannot be taken by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu alone.
