Ighalo’s Goal Against LASK Voted 3rd Best In Europa League (Video)

PSG Identify Ighalo As Replacement For Cavani

Nigerian football star Odion Ighalo has landed another big achievement at Manchester United after his goal against LASK voted Europa League third best for last season.

According to the report on Complete Sports, UEFA technical observers are said to have rated Odion Ighalo’s goal as the third best in the 10 goals they picked.

Ighalo scored the goal in Manchester United’s Round of 16 first leg tie against LASK at the Linzer Stadium in March which they won 5-0.

The forward controlled the ball thrice in the 28 minute before firing home a superb shot from just inside the area.

Odion Ighalo netted two goals for Manchester United in the Europa League and was on the bench for the clash against Sevilla which sent the Red Devils out of the competition.

Manchester United are currently preparing for the coming Premier League season in which Odion Ighalo is expected to take part.

Anaedoonline.ng had reported how Odion Ighalo is currently the highest earning Nigerian footballer as the Manchester United striker is paid a massive £125K-a-week fee after he successfully extended his contract at the Old Trafford.

Manchester United have confirmed that Nigeria international Odion Ighalo will remain at the club until January 2021. The 30-year-old joined the Red Devils earlier this year from Shanghai Shenhua for an initial six months loan deal and further extended the deal until 2021.

He earns a whopping sum of money ahead of sensational youngster Victor Osimhen who will be earning £96,000-a-week at his new club Napoli.

Also, Anaedoonline.ng reported how Manchester United are reportedly planning to include their goalkeeper Sergio Romero as part of the deal to land Jack Grealish this summer.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the Aston Villa midfielder as they continue to strengthen their squad for the coming season.

They will, however, be faced with a set back as Chelsea are said to have made the Argentine a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga who could leave Stamford Bridge. Newly promoted club Leeds United and Everton are also interested in the 33-year-old goal-tender as reported by SunSport.
