INSECURITY: Nigerians Never Saw Light In My Vision – Nnamdi Kanu Laments

Nnamdi Kanu, The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra has disclosed that he foresaw the activities of Fulani herdsmen who have been accused of crimes in the country.

Nnamdi Kanu noted that he spoke with a session of Nigerians in the United States in 2015 that President Muhammadu Buhari-led government would usher herdsmen and farmers’ crisis.

He made this claim while reacting to a report that some schools in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja were shutting down following the alleged influx of Fulani militias into some parts of Niger State, near the nation’s capital.

Kanu who took to his Twitter account lamented how his warning was ignored. “In 2015 I warned the leadership of World Igbo Congress (WIC) in USA & #Nigerians at large during a town hall meeting in LA that @MBuhari’s reign will usher in a deadly and devastating armed Fulani invasion of the country.

“But they ignored my prophecy. Today they have come”, he tweeted.

In another development, Senate President Ahmad Lawan has expressed confidence in the ability of the nation’s service chiefs to win the war against insurgency and insecurity in Nigeria.

On Thursday, Lawan made the submission while receiving the security chiefs into the Senate Chamber for a discussion with the lawmakers on the security situation in the country.
