Members of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ogbaru Local Government Area, have pledged their support to the Gubernatorial Ambition of Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor, ahead of the June 23rd, All Progressive Grand Alliance Party (APGA) primary election.
Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor who was in the L.G.A yesterday, Tuesday, 18th May, 2021, to seek the support of members of his party in the L.G.A, said that he was in the race because of his passion and quest to build a Viable, Independent, Secured and Advanced economy in Anambra State.

Interacting with party faithfuls, the Governorship Aspirant said that although he has a clear vision of what he wants to achieve in the state, he has developed a homegrown manifesto tagged VISA ECONOMY anchored on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
He explained that his background and experience he has garnered, both locally and internationally has placed him far ahead of other aspirants in the party, noting that his age is also an added advantage.
Speaking further, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor said that Ogbaru Local Government Area is very strategic in his Agricultural Policy to position Anambra State as a leading player in food production in Nigeria and Africa.
According to him, through his plan tagged VISA ECONOMY, he intends to consolidate on the agricultural revolution of His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano by investing in the agro-economic zones of Anambra by building the needed infrastructures and creating the enabling environment for the establishment of agro-based industries, increased food production, job creation, and economic prosperity.
While appealing for support, he urged potential delegates in the area to resist every attempt to manipulate their conscience, noting that the time has come to liberate the party from the hands of few opportunists.
Speaking on behalf of Party Faithfuls in the area, the Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Chief Nnamdi Ifejike praised Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor for the visit, assuring him of the support of the Local Government.
