Insecurity: Pope Francis Shows Interest In Buhari

On Monday 21st June 2021, Pope Francis assured President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration of his readiness to help Nigeria end the security challenges in the country.

The Pope who stated this when he received a letter of credence from the Nigerian Ambassador to the Holy See, Ambassador Paul Oga Adikwu, said he is committed to seeing the security crisis affecting Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa come to an end.

He commended President Buhari’s effort in fighting against security challenges ravaging the entire nation.

The Pope vowed to personally pray for the nation, stating that the current crises in Nigeria are global.
