The House of Representatives has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to fish out moles in the Nigerian military to win the fight against insurgency.

Anaedoonline.ng reports that this was part of the 19 recommendations the lawmaker came up with during the National Security Summit to generate ideas towards tackling insecurity across the country.

The lawmakers asked the President to declare a state of emergency on unemployment, which it said is the main driver of insecurity.

The legislators also asked the President and Chief of Defence Staff to fish out “moles and double-agents” from the military who have frustrated the fight against insecurity.
