Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has spoken on the recent hike of the Naira against the Dollar and has complained that it is making her depressed.

She made a post on Instagram asking how other entrepreneurs are surviving with the exchange rate and paying school fees for their children schooling abroad.
She had written: “My fellow entrepreneurs how exactly are you coping with this exchange rate? Even paying abroad school fees na die, this country!!

Anaedoonline also reports that the Naira was at 550 to a dollar on Thursday, September 9. This has been the lowest Naira has fallen in a very long time. Reports from the BDC in Kano revealed that as of Thursday evening a dollar was exchanged for 549.
