The member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Engr. Sir. Chris Emeka Azubuogu has concluded plans to dump the All Progressive Congress (APC) to join All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
The lawmaker who is popularly known as Mr. Project has reportedly met with top chieftains of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) including the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Dr. Victor Ike Oye, to perfect his plans to join the party.
Although Chris Azubuogu who has been in the National Assembly in the last ten (10) is yet to officially announce his defection, he has officially expressed his desire to partner with the incoming Governor, His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

Anaedonline.ng has reliably gathered that the lawmaker who joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the last Anambra Governorship election is determined to fly the APGA flag in the 2023 Anambra Senatorial election.
Chris Emeka Azubuogu is said to have the backing of most stakeholders in Anambra South who consider him as an experienced lawmaker and a performer.
His intentions have unsettled Senator Ifeanyi Ubah who is currently in dilemma as to what will be his fate as he bids to return to the Nigeria Senate.
