The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has granted bail to Willie Obiano, the immediate past Governor of Anambra State (EFCC).
The EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, revealed the event during a press conference on Monday.
Bawa spoke to journalists in Abuja on the sidelines of the Network of Anti-Corruption Institutions in West Africa’s 5th Annual General Assembly (AGA) (NACIMA).

He did say, however, that Obiano has yet to complete his bail conditions and is still in the commission’s custody.
Remember that the former Governor was apprehended by the anti-graft agency at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos last Thursday.
There were reports that Obiano was on his way to the United States of America after handing over to the new Governor of the state, Charles Soludo.
Obiano was subsequently transferred to the headquarters of EFCC, where he was quizzed for days over alleged mismanagement of N42bn and inflated contract.
