Mr. Willie Obiano, the former Governor of Anambra State, has returned home with his family following his arrest and imprisonment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Residents of his hometown surrounded the former governor on all sides and gave him a hero’s welcome after he was released after four days as an EFCC guest.

Obiano was apprehended by EFCC operatives at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport on March 17 while attempting to depart the country just hours after handing over to his successor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
