The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State have been acquired by a group called the Northern Progressives Elements and Friends of Wike.
Senator Sulieman Nazif’s organization stated that they purchased the forms for the governor because they believe in Wike’s devotion for the nation.
This was revealed in a statement sent by the Rivers governor’s media aide, Kelvin Ebiri, on Tuesday, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

Wike declared during the Abuja press conference that he has the ability to handle Nigeria’s insecurity and economic concerns.
While stating that he is ready for the job, the governor stated that Nigerians can no longer surrender to fate and bear the consequences of the country’s economic woes and wantom killings.
He described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party that lacks ideas on how to govern.
The governor stated that APC has failed in addressing economy concerns of Nigerians.
Wike said: “They have tried it with me. They know that they can never succeed. They did it in Rivers State, we said ‘no, it will never work.’ And it didn’t work. If you give us the ticket, go home and sleep.”

Speaking at the event, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State thanked the Northern group for purchasing the form for Wike.
He stated that Nigeria needs an energetic leader and not tired individuals to govern its affairs.
