NEWS UPDATE: Fire Raze INEC Office In Abia

The inferno began in a shop, according to a dealer named Sunday, who told The Nations that it spread to neighboring shops.

This is not the first time the Karimo market has been ravaged by fire, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

This comes only a week after a fire broke out at Apongbon market on Lagos Island.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the fire destroyed several businesses and properties, and the blaze caused traffic congestion on the Eko bridge.

The flames that engulfed a big piece of the bridge also harmed vehicles parked beneath it.

The Federal and Lagos Fire Services are said to have reacted to the event and attempted to put out the fire.
