Upon his return to Nigeria, the IPOB leader was charged before Justice Binta Nyako’s Federal High Court in Abuja.

The IPOB leader was charged with terrorism-related offenses.

However, rumours on the internet claimed that the President had ordered the IPOB leader’s release.

However, IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, dismissed such reports.

In a chat with Newsmen, Powerful said: “That is April fool and IPOB will not be moved by mere talk without action, IPOB is bigger than that.”
