To avoid domestic abuse, Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center has encouraged spinsters to be aware of warning signs when courting.
This comes only days after Osinachi Nwachukwu, a gospel singer, died following a battle with her husband, who reportedly dehumanized her on multiple occasions.
The FCT Police Command has detained the husband, Peter Nwachukwu. DSP Josephine Adeh, the command’s spokesman, confirmed the arrest and said the inquiry is still underway.

Meanwhile, Pastor Enenche’s name has been dragged through the mud on social media for reportedly neglecting to advise Osinachi, the church’s music minister, to leave her husband after the violence.
The pastor, who has kept mum on the incident, however, on Monday morning, posted a video on his verified Facebook page where he was captured advising youths to avoid partners with indication of violence.
He said, “That man that can slap you during courtship can kill you in marriage.”
