Sit-at-home: Unknown Gunmen Kill Driver, Set Bus Ablaze

At the Holy Ghost region of Enugu State, a driver was murdered and his Sienna bus was set on fire by attackers.

The event, which occurred in the early hours of Monday morning, was alleged to be linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, members’ Monday sit-at-home protest over their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s, ongoing detention.

The event happened at 6 a.m., according to a member of the neighborhood watch.

“As I talk to you, Holy Ghost, Main Market, and Old Park sectors are now ghost sites,” the insider claimed.
The assailants set fire to a bus in Vienna, and I later learned that the driver was murdered. The chairman of the Enugu North local government informed us of the event this morning and asked that all of us – local security personnel like as neighborhood watch and forest guard employees – come out.”
