Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s presidential campaign has been linked to two Northern Governors.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the two powerful governors have received presidential approval to push Jonathan into the 2023 presidential election.
According to reports, one of the governors is from the North West, while the other hails from the North East, and the leaders have come up with a strategy to persuade the former president to join the APC (APC).
The two governors are considered to be powerful APC leaders who have played major roles in the ruling party’s affairs in recent years.

After a Coalition of Northern Groups acquired the APC’s expression of interest and nomination forms for Jonathan, one of the governors’ priorities was satisfied.
On Monday evening, the groups selected the forms on behalf of Jonathan at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.
Members of the coalition told reporters after picking up the form that Jonathan is the best candidate to lead Nigeria to the next level in 2023.
Face hats and t-shirts with the slogan ‘run Jonathan run’ were seen on members of the coalition.
