Former President Goodluck Jonathan is said to have filed an All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination and expression of interest form to the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
Jonathan had submitted the N100 million paperwork to Adamu only a few days before.
A source that spoke with Newsmen said, “His form has secretly been submitted. He submitted his nomination form through the APC Chairman a few days ago.
“Members of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabal are still pushing for Jonathan to become the party’s consensus candidate.”

This is coming after the presidential aspirant under the ruling party, Kayode Fayemi stated that he is not aware that Jonathan is a member of APC.
The Governor submitted that the official status of former President Goodluck Jonathan in APC is unknown to him.
Anaedoonline.ng reports Gov. Fayemi submitted to an interview with Arise TV which was released on Thursday amidst the speculations surrounding the rumoured plans by Jonathan to defect to APC and contest the 2023 presidency on the platform of the ruling party.
He made the declaration when he was asked by the anchor about the possibility of Jonathan emerging as the consensus candidate of the APC for the 2023 presidential election.
