The support group of presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to reports that former President Goodluck Jonathan might emerge as the All Progressives Congress, APC, consensus presidential candidate.
The presidential candidate replied through James Faleke, the founder of Tinubu’s support organization.
Jonathan was allegedly granted a waiver by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to run in the party’s presidential primary on Sunday, May 29.

In an interview with Newsmen, Faleke stated that he is convinced that Tinubu would win the primary if the process is held in a free and fair manner.
He went on to say that individuals who are supporting Jonathan and visiting him are allowed to do so, and that Jonathan has the right to join the party and run for president.
His words: “For us, we are still very confident of victory in a free and fair election whether Jonathan is brought in or not, we are confident. It is the right of Jonathan to join our party and to contest.
“As to whether the party will go back and praise Jonathan is another ball game. We are not afraid. We have our capacity. Let the process be free and fair and fair. That is the only thing that can make this party great.
“What we expect is for our party to follow the Electoral Act. It is their personal right of those visiting him to do.”
