Samuel Kanu, the bishop of the Methodist Church of Nigeria (MCN), was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Sunday.
Other priests, including the Bishop of Owerri, Dennis Mark, were reportedly kidnapped by the gunmen.
The pastors were abducted along the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway in Abia state’s Umunneochi LGA, according to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng.

The incident was confirmed by Abia police spokesperson Geoffrey Ogbonna, according to report.
