Meanwhile, In a related story, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, the main Igbo socio-political organization, has condemned the PDP presidential primaries, which produced former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the party’s presidential candidate for 2023, as crooked and irregular.

Ohanaeze, in a statement sent to the media on Sunday morning through its Secretary-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, reacted to Atiku’s win by saying that the PDP presidential candidate will never become Nigeria’s president.

Ohanaeze rejected Atiku’s nomination, claiming that his election as the PDP’s candidate was the result of a scheme by disloyal Northerners to destabilize the country’s southern region.
