Walter Anga, a Nollywood actor, has come under criticism for endorsing the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the president in 2023.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the actor made the public statement after Wike’s address at a gathering organised on Monday to greet him after the PDP primary in Rivers State.
In response to Atiku Abubakar’s election as the PDP’s presidential candidate, the actor repeated his pledge to support whoever gets the presidential ticket in the 2019 elections.

He also praised River State Governor Nyensom Wike, saying he will never forsake the party.
He said; ”I made a vow to the PDP that i will support whoever emerges from the #PDPPresidentialPrimaries and i am not going to go back on my word. We cannot abandon the @OfficialPDPNig, we will be fully supporting H.E @atiku. Man like WIKE my Governor the point one ☝️ of Rivers State. Now let’s focus on the Bigger WIN. I am a dedicated PDP member and I stand with my party and my people. Make everybody chose him party and him candidates oh!!!”
However, displeased fans of the actor stormed his comment section, calling him out for his statement, and accusing him of using his fame and influence to mislead people.
