According to a report made available to journalists by the Nigeria Army, a Biafra agitator-planted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded on their personnel yesterday, injuring at least two individuals.

According to Nwachukwu, the most recent explosion happened on the Eke Ututu-Orsu route in Imo State’s Orsu Local Government Area.

According to the statement, while seeking to dodge forces’ onslaught on terrorists in the area, the dissidents mistakenly trod on an IED that they had hidden along numerous roads in Orlu, Orsu Local Government Area.

The Army urged all peace-loving individuals in the South-East to notify any suspected sites where explosives have been hidden so that they can be properly evacuated and disposed of.
