Former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu has been congratulated by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on his win in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries.
President Muhammadu Buhari and APC leaders were also congratulated by Osinbajo on a successful special convention.
According to the VP, Tinubu has demonstrated passion, patriotism, courage, and dedication in the pursuit of nation-building for decades.

In a statement released on Thursday, Osinbajo praised Buhari for his outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and growth.
“His wealth of experience will certainly be critical in our party’s continued efforts to attain a more secure and prosperous Nigeria”, he said.
Osinajo urged APC members to unite and support Tinubu to ensure victory for our party in the 2023 elections.
“We must remain strong and united in pursuing our collective vision as a party towards building a country that can provide a decent life and livelihoods for all our people”, his statement added.
