Joe Igbokwe, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has predicted that his party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the APC national leader beat out 13 other presidential candidates in the governing party’s primary poll to become the party’s standard-bearer.
Tinubu received 1,271 votes, beating Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who received 235 votes, former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, who received 316 votes, and Senate President Ahmed Lawan, who received 152 votes.

In response to Tinubu’s ascension, Igbokwe predicted that Tinubu will win the 2023 presidential election, thereby retiring Abubakar from politics.
In a post on his Facebook page, the APC stalwart claimed that the presidency has been zoned to the South, saying that Atiku cannot win the upcoming general elections.
“Asiwaju will retire Atiku permanently in 2023. And if you must know, Presidency is zoned to the South and the world knows about it,” Igbokwe wrote.
Meanwhile, following Abubakar’s emergence as the APC presidential candidate, the opposition PDP has said that Tinubu is no match for him.
Tinubu will soon discover that Nigeria is not one of his purchased properties or fiefdoms, according to the PDP.

Debo Ologunagba, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, stated in a statement that the Nigerian people are not his political puppets and lackeys from whom he purchased the APC Presidential ticket.
