The Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government in Nasarawa State, CSP Haruna Abdulmalik, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, the DPO was abducted on Thursday while on patrol at Nasarawa Eggon-Akwanga Road.
According to reports, the kidnappers had gotten in touch with the victim’s relatives and demanded a N5 million ransom.

As of press time, attempts to contact Nasarawa State Police PPRO Asp Ramhan Nansel had been unsuccessful.
Benjamin Kuze, the Deputy Chairman of the local government area, told Newsmen that the event had indeed occurred.
