The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Nwoba Chika Nwoba, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) publicity secretary in Ebonyi State, to discuss his contentious wedding cake.
This comes after Mr. Nwoba and his bride, Onyinyechi, presented their guests a cake decorated in the colors of the former Biafra Republic at their wedding on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at St. Joseph Anglican Church in the Ekpelu village of the State’s Ikwo LGA.

Mr. Nwoba revealed that the DSS had asked him to appear in their Abakaliki office by 12 o’clock on Tuesday. He confirmed this on Facebook.
But he made it clear that he would accept their invitation.
Nwoba wrote, “Got an invitation from the DSS, Abakaliki office tomorrow by 12 pm. I knew I would be invited. As a law-abiding citizen, if the road is clear tomorrow, I will honour it.”
