ISWAP Vows To Carry Out More Attacks On Prison Facilities

A new video of the Islamic State in West Africa Province’s (ISWAP) members enjoying the recently passed Eid-el-Kabir festival has been uploaded.

The recently released film depicts the militants celebrating the Islamic Festival in various locales, including what are thought to be villages under the group’s control in Borno State and the shores of Lake Chad.

According to reports, the 12’38 video depicted men and kids worshiping in broad fields and taking part in various celebration activities, including animal sacrifices in accordance with Eid custom.

Contrary to the terrorist group’s custom, the faces of those in the film were obscured.

Shortly after the militants had gathered, an unidentified speaker assured the Hausa-speaking crowd that the group’s prisoners would soon be released.
